I am listening the the audiobook. I was surprised that the author was a classics major. I like that he includes world/political events along with the events he is personally involved in.

Making the Corp

This book is by a reporter which is a little different than the other book. In some ways I like the "outsider" view because I am an outsider also, and the book has the "feel" of being there in that way: as an invisible observer.


Making the Corp and Quantico, Crossroads of the Marine Corp were recommended by a reference librarian at Quantico. One Bullet Away was nearby on the shelf and caught my attention.

My internship contract was approved. I am drafting my personal learning objectives.
